How Far Ahead Should We Book our Date?
Almost all of the couples we work with book 6 months to a year in advance or more. Saturdays in the spring and fall fill up quickly as the weather here is nearly perfect. Reach out as soon as you’re ready and we will do our best to get your wedding on our schedule?
How Many Photos Should We Expect?
After expertly curating and processing your photos, we will deliver 30+ photos for every hour of coverage. Most couples receive around 300 photos that include all the big moments, little interactions, and details that make their wedding unique.
Something I also noticed is that some photographers do not give you unlimited images; they have a set amount and you are able to purchase more if you are interested – so make sure you ask! Either is ok; it is all about preference and you finding the right photographer!
Do I need a wedding planner?
- If you are from here and you’re ready to deal with all the design and logistics, it is possible to pull off a seamless event. However, if your wedding will have more than 50 guests or your planning from afar, a wedding planner will go a long way to helping you realize your vision.
- It allows you to potentlly book less hours since there are two people there to do one job!
- is is a perfect way to insure incase of emergency, illness, or injury on the job (or to the job, sadly this happens) that your wedding will still be documented and go off without a hitch!
All of our full weddings with 6 hours or more of coverage come with a complimentary second shooter!
We are blessed to have a team of skilled photographers so that on your wedding day you will have it all covered!
What Are Our Next Steps After Contacting You?
When you fill out our contact form we will get back to you within 48 hours. If you don’t hear from us, please check your spam folder (because we don’t want to keep you waiting!) If we are available for your date, we can set up an online meeting or a phone call to get to know each other. We’ll be excited to hear about your vision and offer you support in planning your wedding. Then, if you decide to work with us, we’ll be there every step of the way to help you with your schedule, answer questions, and respond to any requests or concerns.
Will You Bring a Second Shooter?
All weddings that are booked for six hours or more include a talented second shooter trained in the Maddness Photography style. For weddings of less duration we can arrange to have a second shooter for an hourly fee of $100. Having a second shooter on hand when you have a large wedding, a long shot list, or just want multiple perspectives is highly recommended.
Do you have liability insurance?
Absolutely. It is important that your vendors have insurance and we carry a 2-million dollar policy (twice what most venues require.) We highly suggest that you check your vendors’ REGISTRATION STATUS with the state to avoid any issues, especially with venues
