Looking Glass Waterfall, and Moore Cove Waterfall Adventurous Elopement Pisgah National Forest, Asheville, NC

Part of the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina lies one of the most beautiful National Forests. Pisgah National Forest.  It’s home to many tails and waterfalls, some less than a mile hike, and most elopements do not require a permit.

Sasha & Dalton Picked an amazing 1940’s craftsman cottage airbnb  called Blantyre Farm Cottage in Transylvania County with the cutest story behind it. During the renovation the owners discovered a massive beehive (think honey oozing through the walls, and sockets). The owners grandchildren got to help the beekeepers relocate the hive! HOW COOL!

Soon enough after leaving the air bnb we drove straight to Moore Cove Falls Trail to watch these two elope under a waterfall! This was such a perfect location because the hike to the waterfall it is under 1.5 miles round trip, with well carved out paths, and little incline.

After Sasha and Dalton said I do, we headed just down the road on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Pisgah National Forest to Looking Glass Waterfalls.  This falls has a steep but paved staircase, and endless photo opportunities, one to include meeting a cute rock hiking pup ready to congratulate the newlyweds.
